  • It'd be good if you could provide a link or two to an online store who carries the snuffs on your list :) A store that ships internationally.

Nice list Pedro, I personally would have placed Square a bit higher , because it is my favorite of the Americans and added Tube Rose as my favorite sweet snuff.
  • Ok, I forget to put Tube Rose. I was a bit wrong, maybe TR in the place of Honey Bee.
    Cheers!!!
  • Yes the Tube Rose is an excellent sweet snuff, though I am not a big fan of the sweet ones I do like Tube Rose allot.

I think I am going to have to revisit some American snuffs from my collection before I put a list together, allot of them are similar with only slight differences. A very hard list to put together if you haven't taken anything but Square, Tube Rose and Superior recently.
  • There are so many good choices its hard to put one in front of the other. But this is my current order of favorites guaranteed to change over time.

    1) Levi Garrett
    2) Rooster
    3) Stoker's Plain
    4) Tube Rose
    5) Square
    6) Railroad Mills
    7) Honest
    8) Swisher Strawberry
    9) Red Seal
    10) Ralph's

  • Its a good snuff.
  • It's a good everyday snuff. there's nothing particularly special about it, except it's been around forever, hasn't changed a whole lot, and will always be there for ya. It's kind like your old dog.

  • Well, I've only got 6 of them to go at, but I'll have to see if I can work out which I like best. Rooster could well be the number one!

  • Well, one way is to tap some out into the lid of the can, pull out your lip, and dump it in. When I dip scotch snuffs I take a pinch or two with my fingers and put it in my lip. Pinching gives a smaller amount but the stuff's so potent it hardly matters to me.

I had a hard time with scotches at first like most people but now I love em. Pinch sniff and repeat. Eventually you'll get it.

I found these to be a little tricky at first, but nothing like some people warn you about. Just resign to the fact that you're gonna burn your eyes out a couple times and inhale a few doses and you'll be good to go. Your body will instinctively guard against it happening again and it becomes easy after a short while. Now they've become a big part of my daily intake and I really enjoy the flavors too. Nothing else hits as hard and that's what I need to keep from smoking.
  • AMEN! Once you get started with the American Scotches, everything else pales in comparison! IMHO of course!
