Hi @newbiesnuffer, yes, I need to take quite a lot of it in a pinch repeatedly for proper delivery. Overall I prefer gul to tapkir. At least 6P Cheeta Chhap Gul, haven't tried any other, but expecting to get one from JNF this week. 6P Super Chetak and 6P Cheeta are another tapkirs I tried. I played with google translator a little bit and identified them as such. And 6P black snuffs (including the brown Super Kailash) are... naswar? Please correct me, if I am wrong, mate. Just trying to get more familiar with Indian snuff terms and Devanagari script seems quite tricky for a first day student.
@volunge - there is no technical difference between all the terms you specify above when it comes to snuff. The region it is used in within India creates the different terms due to the vast languages. Tapkir and Gul however is a term used for snuff which is used as dentrifice and Naswar is more used for nasal snuff. In Pakistan Naswar is the term used for loose snus like Fire and Ice. But yes, Gul is definitely the strongest. Please post your reviews for the Janta snuffs - would love to know your thoughts. Im just waiting to reach my city (I'm traveling now) to order some. @ar47 haha I prefer to snuff brisket. @perique with a gas closet smoker. Put the turkey in an herb brine for 12 hours before. Just finished. 20 pounder took 9 hours.
