Sir Walter Scott back in stock

Brazilian Snuff for sale.

@miamimark, please delete this if it's a no no and I'll repost it under the marketplace. Hello everyone! I found a gentleman from Brazil on Instagram who produces snuff and is willing to ship to the U.S., perhaps other countries as well. He produces two kinds as of now, a plain dark snuff and a dark "fruity" snuff as well.

Thanks for sharing this, looks yummy! A bit pricey, tho - 25 BRL. That is 5.50 EUR/4.70 GBP/6 USD.
Just sent them an email regarding shipping to Europe.

Edit: 25 BRL is for the brown one (plain) - Imperador. The fruity one - Baron - costs 27 BRL.

There must be a typo in their email address, I just got my letter back undelivered.

@volunge could you please share what the shipping costs were?
  • @SammyD13 I was quoted $29 to Florida. Too rich for my blood.

Two more rappees were launched by Rape Imperio do Brasil - Rape No.3 Duque and Rape No.4 Conde.

Rape No.3 Duque - "Pure tobacco aroma with leathery and earthy notes that appear in the fermentation process."

Rape No.4 Conde - "A classic minty snuff, without addition of any other powder. Made with a tobacco base that carries the power of mint."

    Rape Imperio do Brasil website/webstore:

@faktiheiny, are you familiar with these snuffs?
  • @volunge
funny coincidence. I found theyre offer at Mercado Livre (south amarican Ebay) few weeks ago and contacted them. Unfortunatly it is way to pricey to prove. 25 BRL + 50BRL for shipping

50 BRLs equates to $8.60 USD at this moment. For a single 25brl tin it seems like a lot, but I bet the economy of shipping scales where 5 tins would be under $15 to ship?

They should investigate mailing options better, I think. At least for inland shipping...

@ar47, second that, bulk buy sounds like the only reasonable solution at given rates.
  • 25brl for 10g is a lot, too. snuff/tobacco is cheaper here. 10BRL would be a good price, 15 acceptable for a "premium snuff'. for reference, this one selles 100g "comercial" snuff for 35BRL

I too just send them a email. Really would like to get my hands on these.
  • I bought a bunch of these Brazilian snuffs a few years ago. They were okay but nothing special. And most of all, they were very expensive and the shipping was too. I’ll pass on them for the most part. One that I liked a lot was called Imbruana. I just found the little tin last night and did a few bumps.
  • @mrmanos, the problem with those Brazilian snuffs you tried is that they are non-alkalized and are not capable to deliver nicotine. Toy snuffs, really. They might have delicious flavours, have beautiful texture and all... but are kick-free. Just like Poschl schmalzlers.

Here's a link to a beautiful study about Brazilian snuffs, both commercially manufactured and indigenous (tribal) ones:

  • @volunge the tribals make wonderful stuff these days. With a lot of ash in it. This was my start to snuff with a kuripe. But that is stuff I use for meditation.
