New website for strongest snuffs

ManxSnuffManxSnuff Member, Administrator
Hey all, so I've been busy helping out with the design and development of a brand new website that will feature only the strongest snuffs and other products in respect of nicotine content and I could really use some help!

What are the strongest snuffs you've ever had before?

Strongest oral tobacco products are all listed here:

Neffa Green and Neffa Ifrikia are strong nasal snuffs. These two should be reallocated from Chew/Dip/Makla to Snuff category.
  • Viking Brown
    Viking Dark

    Bermard Fresco
    Bernard Aecht Altbayerischer Schmalzler

    6Photo Cheetah

    Dholakia Sparrow

    41 Photo White Elephant
    Dholakia White
    Toque Rustica
    Dholakia Madras Toast
  • Plenty of American Scotches pack a nicotine punch.
  • I found the below strong to my nose:

MG Madras, SVS Madras, and any of the other brand Madras snuffs
    JNF Dragon Madras
    6P Afghan White
    6P Cheeta, 6P Cheeta Gul
    41P White elephant
    Dholakia White, Dholakia Sparrow,
    Sugandha Sagar Rose
    Toque USA Whiskey and Honey
    F&T Santo Domingo

  • Adding to @Volunge 's great list, Viking Thor's Hammer
  • I'd 2nd nearly all of the ones above I've tried. I'd also propose adding Dholakia's Mighty Eagle to this list.Based on their descriptions, the other snuffs from this particular genre of Dholakia may fit the bill as well (Majestic Elephant, Lion King, and White Tiger), but I'll have to wait until my next order from Mr Snuff comes in to officially verify ;)

Good luck on this noble endeavour!

Thanks guys! That some great suggestions

Because I haven't tried most of the above before It would be really great if I could get some help with some of the descriptions too

Since it will be on a store only selling strong snuff. Go crazy with them! Like this with blow your head off and put you in a coma kind of descriptions haha
  • The holy trinity of Nicotine from my experience is:
    NTSU Black
    Toque Rustica
    Dholakia White

Also, Toque Whiskey & Honey USA and Toque Quit have a decent nicotine hit.
  • @ALLex, don't you find Toque W&H USA much stronger in nic department than pure Toque Rustica?
  • @volunge Toque Rustica and Toque W&H USA was my first ever snuff order and at first i thought Toque Rustica was weak and overhyped so i left the bag for a while and i was sniffing W&H USA . But theese days i came back to Toque Rustica and i can really feel the nic hit now. I dont know but i think it was the funky smell of pure rustica that didnt let me enjoyed it at first!
  • @ManxSnuff is MrSnuff not concerned about the perception of our industry if actually advertising our passion (tobacco snuffs) in those kinds of words? All our joking on the forum here asiden the dignity of snuff is part of the allure for many of us I think
  • I take a lot of snuff every day and to me, it's the frequency of snuff use that gives me, at least, the nicotine I need. Sure, all the snuffs mentioned I endorse and sometimes use, but for actual strength I go with all the dark Viking, KBs,all white Indian snuff, all American Scotch, and the South Africans.
  • Nicotine crystals, since my tollerance skyrocketed after frequent use of VD. For real tho, Indian whites or NTSU wont tingle my nose whatsoever. I guess its time to take a break for a few days
  • @Johano Interesting. My tolerance is very high too. What I do for my fix these days is 1 pinch of something strong like Rustica, and follow that with several pinches of something mid strength like Toque SP Extra (my current fav) This "technique"  ensures that the first pinch of very strong stuff always delivers a good punch.

And on topic, I've not tried many snuffs compared to some users but my 3 strongest are White Elephant, Toque Rustica, and Toque USA Whiskey and Honey.

  • What is the difference between 41 white elephant and toque rustica?
Just enjoying my rustica and wondering if I missing something extremely with white elephant.
My guess is white elephant may be as thin as rustica in grind but am I missing a better scent with elephant. Probably not too much is my guess. Thanks for any input.

They differ substantially. White Elephant is much finer than Toque rustica. In contrary to Toque rustica, WE is alkalized, it contains 6.39% alkali (certificate indicates calcium, which most probably stands for calcium hydroxide aka slaked lime) and 2.5% nicotine ( Consequently, WE is much more potent. To get a grasp what 6.39% means, for comparison, more potent MG Madras contains 6.25% slaked lime and 6.25% ammonium carbonate.

You can easily boost potency of Toque rustica, adding 4-6% alkalizer (by weight), (sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, ammonium carbonate, calcium hydroxide). Mixing in electric coffee grinder is fastest way to blend alkalis with tobacco flour. I would advice against using higher amount of alkali(-s), unless you are going to add some fat (ghee or mineral/paraffin oil).

If WE is too plain for your liking, simply add a drop of any essential oil per 5 g of snuff.
  • Thanks for all the info volunge. Much appreciated.
  • @volunge Nice info mate. Thanks you too

if i want a daily strong snuff ..use NTSU BLACK or TAXI red is a bit more lenient but still gives a nice nicotine hit.
if i want a fast hit ...use dholokia white, or white elephant...and f&t High dry toast also hits in the same way as the white and fast...
except hdt has a beautiful flavour...which used to appear to me as burnt plastic..but now its heavenly.

for a daily coarse moist snuff i prefer Viking Dark / Brown / Thors Hammer  much more than NTSU and Taxi.

But i tend to enjoy the fine grinded ones like Toque Quit for an all day everyday snuff!
Its the best plain fine grind snuff in my opinion.

I like the white indian snuffs but not as an all day everyday.

@ALLex, i tried many snuffs when i started out...and kendal brown and black rappee used to be favorites of mine..but once i tried NTSU...that was it....that immediatelly became my all day main snuff...and i have never looked the other snuffs if taken constantly seem to get on my chest....and not only that but they dont feel as mellow as NTSU...ntsu is like a mellow but strong and durable nic hit..which is just what i like.the white snuffs are sharp and strong but not long lasting, all the other snuffs are fine but i like my snuff others make their way to my chest.

My number one strongest is Toque Rustica, when I bought it I got 400 grams and it was extremely finely milled and medium/low moisture, I heard now they only have coarsely ground. That snuff had my head swimming, I swear colors got brighter for a bit.
  • @BobFrapples

If Im not mistaken, toques bespoke offer is for a 400 gram bag. I assume they would be able to do some fine ground rustica for you. I suggest asking about it, they have great customer service.
  • 6Photos Super Kailash was the first snuff where I felt the nicotine hit.
  • NTSU Black is the most potent snuff I've had.  I want to mention Toque Rustica here though, even though it's different.  It's quite potent and it lingers in your focus

I like Taxi Red as well.  It's a bit smoother than NTSU, but it's pretty close in potency.  I think it tastes a little bit better than NTSU, even if it's just slightly less potent.  It's very fun to take
  • I guess I have a high tolerance because I don't get any extra nicotine from any snuff. I get the same feeling from all of them. I have tried white elephant, fubar grunt, and even rustica. They all are good, but I seem to get a steady dose of N from them all.

@mrmanos It could be a case of looking for a particular effect or even just a feeling that a snuff gives.  In that case, there are plenty that give me an effect but only a handful that enhance my cognition to a noticeable degree

I have to say, too that it seems everybody's different somehow.  I find F&T HDT sort of a low-medium strength toast while F&T Old Paris is about medium strength, although I can take enough of the latter to reach a comfortable nicotine level.  That's odd too because in general, my nose does much better at not clogging with fine, dry snuff

Something like NTSU though, it makes me nearly incapacitated if I get just the right amount in me.  I guess that doesn't sound like fun but it's quite an enjoyable experience for me
