  • Cold tap water. Massive heat waves here for a second week, temp exceeding 30C, so unusual for the beginning of  summer.

Accidentally drank a cup of white iced coffee today that I was treated with in the city - simply forgot I'm taking a break from the stuff. I remembered my break after the first half of a cuppa, but it tasted damn good and was so refreshing that I could not resist a temptation to finish it all.

Non-fermented fireweed tea (last summer's crop). Great caffeine-free alternative to green tea, tastewise they are similar. It's about time to gather fresh leaves.

Ok. The word juicy made me think about the very popular NE hazy, IPAs. Sounds good to me.

My favorite style right now is very hoppy, very aromatic, but not too bitter. I cannot seem to tolerate the bitterness of many double IPAs that I used to love.
  • Effervescent multivitamin drink.
  • Williams Bros Joker IPA. Lovely hoppy ale; brewed in Scotland, it goes well with some Scottish afternoon sun and a gentle breeze.

Williams Bros Seven Giraffes. IPA (brewed with wild elderflowers). One of my staples and going down rather well tonight as I endeavour to appreciate the new batch of SWS Aged Border Rapee (just arrived today) without comparing it to the original ABR (of which I have quite a bit stashed away). The new batch is completely different (in colour and flavour). I like it, but am having to think of it as a completely different snuff.
